Nature Trails

Earthaven offers another resource to visitors: a series of nature trails throughout its wooded acreage.  Hikers will find a great variety of plant and animal species in these woodland, meadow and stream environments.  Deer, bear, coyotes, otter and perhaps even a wolf may be sighted at various times.  Many bird species can be observed.  Plants and wildflowers are abundant in season.

A self-guiding trail map will soon be available.  Guided tours can be arranged in advance by contacting Earthaven.  On these hikes visitors can learn about the geological history of the area, the effects of logging, hunting and grazing and the ever changing plant and animal environments.  Come and enjoy a walk in nature!
